This collaboration between FE GREEN PET (M) SDN. BHD. (FMGP) and the Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) goes beyond a routine cleanup—it represents a shared dedication to environmental care and community engagement.
On 14 November, FMGP participated in MBMB’s Litter Picking/Plogging program under the Bandaraya Ekosistem Bersih Aspirasi Semua (BEBAS) initiative, held at Pesisir Pantai Sungai Lereh, Melaka. This program brought together officers from MBMB’s Landscape and Urban Beautification Department, the Corporate and Community Management Department, employees from FE GREEN PET (M) SDN. BHD., sPublic Management students from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), and members of MBMB’s Skuad Bebas volunteer team.
Led by Mr. Noor Azran Bin Nordin, Senior Environmental Health Officer of MBMB, and joined by Mr. Lee Chih Hung, Manager of FE Green Pet (M) Sdn. Bhd., the operation successfully collected and segregated 101 kg of trash from the beach area. This hands-on effort highlights the importance of collaboration between local authorities, industry partners, and the younger generation in keeping public spaces clean and promoting responsible waste management.
MBMB has long championed initiatives that enhance urban cleanliness and sustainability. Through this meaningful cooperation, FMGP is proud to support the city’s ongoing mission of protecting Melaka’s natural environment and elevating awareness on environmental responsibility. Every kilogram of waste removed signifies meaningful contribution toward a healthier ecosystem.
When industries, government bodies, and communities work together with a shared purpose, these actions accumulate into long-lasting impact. FMGP remains committed to strengthening such partnerships and contributing to a cleaner, greener Melaka for generations to come.
